I take care of cultural heritage for some years.
I've seen about three years of study at the Accademia Albertina di Torino, other work experience in the field of restoration of decorated surfaces of architectural and graphic documentation of their condition, a stage at the laboratory for conservation and restoration National University Library in Turin and at a workshop of restoration wood, I will start a short internship at the Laboratory of binding and restoration of the State of Asti.
The topic of my thesis I level is the restoration of a hardcover book, a Officio of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1750 covered with leather and cardboard to form quadrants. The book was devoid of the title page: The information regarding title, printer and so on. have been the subject of a long literature search I conducted was completed successfully.
I have a passion especially for the Restoration of Books and bookbinding, areas in which I was able to practice with excellent results.
The execution of the restoration of ' Officio, and other previous books, it made me independent in the performance of the restoration of paper volumes covered with leather or paper-board, and implementation of new leather bindings, covered paperback, new stitching etc.. Will shortly be published pictures of the work carried out in recent years, both of bookbinding restoration.
